If I could give Ka Hale Aloha a 100 stars I would. Not only is the bungalow gorgeous, it was spotless, had everything you could possibly need or want, felt cozy and private, was very aesthetic, and made you feel like you lived on the island. All the neighbors we met were so nice and helpful, we felt very welcome there. But most of all the hosts set Ka Hale Aloha apart from any other rental we have had. Shelby and Carter went above and beyond in every way possible, before, during and after our stay. During the last part of our vacation the first Kona Low Storm hit Maui and our flights were delayed 3 days. Shelby and Carter had already blocked off the days ahead of time anticipating that flight cancellations may happen because of the storm. Our flights were cancelled at 2am HST and Shelby and Carter reached out within hours to assure us that we had a place to stay. To say we were relieved is an understatement. It was a pleasure to be their guests and we look forward to visiting again soon! Don't hesitate just book this bungalow, it is perfect in every way. Oh and they had delicious cupcakes and champagne for my husbands birthday there when we arrived. Their kindness and thoughtfulness are unmatched to any host we have ever had. Plus there are resident turtles at the ocean front we visited daily and whales breaching in the not so far distance🤍Thank you Shelby and Carter for sharing your lovely home with us for a few weeks, can't wait to return to your gorgeous home and island.

Carter and Shelby went out of their way to provide us with local recommendations and activities. They also were very flexible with our family at the end of our stay due to severe weather on the island. Place was spotless and perfectly organized and decorated. Lots of great spots to eat close. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as shown in the pictures, clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up. The amenities were perfect for a family, especially with kids, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable throughout our stay.
The hosts were friendly, responsive, and very understanding, which made the experience even smoother.
Overall, we were very satisfied and truly enjoyed our time here. Just a small heads-up for future guests: there are no food delivery options available in the area. However, there are some great nearby restaurants for dining out or picking up takeout.
Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing family stay!

We had a wonderful time at The Love Shack! The bed and sheets were so cozy and soft - we all slept wonderfully. We also loved the quiet and peaceful location of the bungalow. There were 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 and 10) during our stay and we all loved different aspects of the home. My kids loved the board games and outdoor living area. The adults loved the extra space and amenities (washer, dryer, beach chairs etc). We can’t wait to come back one day. Thank you Shelby and Carter for being wonderful hosts.

This was our second time staying in Carter and Shelby’s cabin, and we can’t wait to return. In fact, our 9-year-old asked if we could always stay here every time we visit Tahoe!
It’s perfect-location, cleanliness, host communication, and responsiveness. I wouldn’t change anything about our stay. Highly recommend!

While the weather did not cooperate on my trip to Maui, this bungalow was a quiet, cozy, and comfortable space to relax for a few days and watch the wind and rain! Everything about the space and location was completely accurate - close to great beaches and food, walkable, private and pristine. I wish I had had more time and better weather to take advantage of all the amenities surrounding the bungalow, and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Maui! As an added bonus, Carter & Shelby are excellent hosts, extremely responsive, helpful and kind. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to visit West Maui!

Shelby and Carter’s home was exactly like the photos—beautifully decorated, super clean, and in a peaceful location. The amenities were great, everything worked perfectly, and the space felt very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

The Sugar Pine Speakeasy was absolutely incredible and hands down one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The home is perfect and thoughtfully designed, tucked away in a quiet, peaceful location while still offering outstanding amenities that made the stay feel comfortable. Location was great for exploring as well as close by access to the ski resort.
Carter and Shelby were exceptional hosts. They were proactive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the entire experience effortless from start to finish.
If you’re heading to Tahoe, don’t hesitate to book this place. We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay.

The love shack was the perfect oasis for us after long days of exploration. It was cozy, clean and a great central location with lots to do in the area. Shelby and Carter were tremendous hosts. They really go above and beyond to not only ensure you’re comfortable in their home, but to make sure you truly encompass everything you’re looking to get out of your Maui vacation. You name it, they had a great recommendation for it. We can’t wait to come back!
