I can’t describe how wonderful our first trip to Lake Tahoe was! When booking an Air BNB, you are always taking a chance on your home away from home. When I was looking for a place in Tahoe, I knew I had found the right one in Sugar Pine Speakeasy. Before arrival, communication between Carter & Shelby had already begun. They continued the communication throughout our stay, greeted us with a sweet card and cookies. The home was everything we had hoped it would be and more! It most definitely made our trip to Tahoe a 💯!!!

Everything was awesome. Shelby and Carter were very helfpul and responsive. The Love Shack was very clean and had everything we asked for. They even left a note and a bottle of champagne. I never went to an airbnb who this welcoming. My fiance and I had an awesome time. Will be coming back.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Sugar Pine Speakeasy. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The space had a **cozy ambiance** with **thoughtful decor** that made it feel inviting and relaxing. The amenities were **great**—everything we needed was provided, and the little touches made it extra special. Carter & Shelby were communicative and welcoming, ensuring we had a smooth experience. The location was also convenient, with easy access to hiking trails and beaches. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others !

This home was the perfect landing place for a family gathering. We took advantage of everything. The location had to offer, including fireworks in Tahoe city, a great dinner at Sunnyside, a bike ride along the water, kayaking, and family game nights and homemade meals. As someone who is particular about products around the home, I was delighted to see some amazing bath products, a beautiful spice drawer, a comfy couch and beautiful linens. All of these little details add up to a luxurious vacation. Thank you for setting us up so wonderfully! Hope to come back again!

Carter and Shelby were fantastic hosts. The cabin was spotless, inviting, and very comfortable. The setting is amazing. Gorgeous trees on the property and in the neighborhood. The hammock and decks provided great relaxation! We really enjoyed our stay.

A picturesque retreat in the forest! I kept thinking throughout our stay, this is exactly what an AirBnB should be. Carter & Shelby, unbelievably responsive and communicative hosts, have thought of everything a weary traveler could need, and want, from chargers galore, to a superb shower, to games which kept the whole family entertained. Little touches - Netflix is signed in; power strips by the bed; labels on the organic spice drawer in the kitchen - make enjoying the space utterly seamless. And you really feel like you’re in the middle of the Tahoe forest, because you are.

This Sugar pine speakeasy A-frame has it all. Great location, very cozy, close to lake, hikes, restaurants. Fully equipped with everything you need for the stay. Bike rentals close as well, highly recommend bike ride to Olympic village. Evening soak in hot tub for the soar muscles. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back.

This was the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Everything you could think of was provided and in like new condition. Beautiful bungalow with tropical patio with hammock. Beach supplies, comfortable beds, herbs, cooking oil and well stocked kitchen supplies. Right by amazing beaches and so many wonderful recommendations from the host. Loved our stay here!
