We stayed here for my 40th birthday and couldn’t have picked a better spot! The A-frame in the forest is absolutely beautiful and has such a cozy, magical vibe. We loved the bathtub in the bedroom and the hot tub in the backyard — perfect for relaxing after exploring Tahoe. The hosts were so responsive, friendly, and gave us great local recommendations that made the trip even more special. Everything about the place was wonderful, and we left with amazing memories. Highly recommend!

As two hardworking farmers with regular jobs on top of it getting out of town isn't always easy, but we couldn't pass this opportunity up! The house was absolutely stunning! Very well stocked and incredibly clean. We were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and our gracious hosts left a hand written card congratulating us as well as a chilled bottle of champagne! And let's not forget the local cookie dough to bake! We arrived tired - ready to relax. Relaxing is an understatement! The beds, pillows, towels, couch, soak tub, and hottub are plush! We will definitely be back and recommending this stay to all our friends! Thank you Carter & Shelby for hosting us!

This place is really special. Carter and Shelby's house is one of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in. The house is beautiful. The interior design will have you taking notes and looking for products so that you can get them for your own house. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and had all of the essential items you need to cook. The beds were incredibly comfortable. We can't wait to book this place again next time we are in Tahoe. Thank you!

This place was such a great place to stay! Anything and everything you could think of is provided for, the attention to detail is amazing! The house felt so much like a home, you could feel the care that was put into everything, it truly had a heart.
Shelby and Carter were also incredibly responsive and communicative, always there to help or give some recommendations! Definitely couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Our stay at the Speakeasy was lovely! The home is so cozy and clean. The beds and linens are extremely comfy. And the communication with the owners was quick and easy. We loved the home and can’t wait to return!!

I can’t describe how wonderful our first trip to Lake Tahoe was! When booking an Air BNB, you are always taking a chance on your home away from home. When I was looking for a place in Tahoe, I knew I had found the right one in Sugar Pine Speakeasy.
Before arrival, communication between Carter & Shelby had already begun. They continued the communication throughout our stay, greeted us with a sweet card and cookies.
The home was everything we had hoped it would be and more! It most definitely made our trip to Tahoe a 💯!!!

Everything was awesome. Shelby and Carter were very helfpul and responsive. The Love Shack was very clean and had everything we asked for. They even left a note and a bottle of champagne. I never went to an airbnb who this welcoming. My fiance and I had an awesome time. Will be coming back.

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Sugar Pine Speakeasy. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The space had a **cozy ambiance** with **thoughtful decor** that made it feel inviting and relaxing. The amenities were **great**—everything we needed was provided, and the little touches made it extra special. Carter & Shelby were communicative and welcoming, ensuring we had a smooth experience. The location was also convenient, with easy access to hiking trails and beaches. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others !

This home was the perfect landing place for a family gathering. We took advantage of everything. The location had to offer, including fireworks in Tahoe city, a great dinner at Sunnyside, a bike ride along the water, kayaking, and family game nights and homemade meals. As someone who is particular about products around the home, I was delighted to see some amazing bath products, a beautiful spice drawer, a comfy couch and beautiful linens. All of these little details add up to a luxurious vacation. Thank you for setting us up so wonderfully! Hope to come back again!

Carter and Shelby were fantastic hosts. The cabin was spotless, inviting, and very comfortable. The setting is amazing. Gorgeous trees on the property and in the neighborhood. The hammock and decks provided great relaxation! We really enjoyed our stay.
